About Us

Fenix Consulting Services Limited, established in its current form in April 2022, has a rich history dating back to 2011. The company was founded by Gordon Wilson, who began by securing consulting contracts with Total E&P UK for drilling activities on the UK continental shelf. With over 20 years of experience in quality, health, safety, and environmental management, Gordon has a strong background in various roles at BP since 2004. As a qualified environmental auditor, he has been involved in significant projects encompassing environmental management systems (EMS), environmental impact assessments (EIA), sustainable development, chemical assessment, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction. 

Dropped Objects Management

Over a period of twelve months, we carried out a comprehensive dropped object survey and management system review at four well sites in Italy for the client’s contracted land rigs.

Total Containment Audit

We successfully conducted an offshore assessment of the operator’s controls and barriers, significantly minimising the risk of an oil-based mud spill impacting the marine environment.

Competency Assurance Assessment

Competency assurance was conducted on the well test contractor before the well test, empowering all personnel to ensure that major accident barriers were strong and that Best Available Techniques (BAT) were embraced.

Environmental Management Plan

We successfully collaborated remotely to design and deliver a comprehensive environmental management plan for a sustainable aviation fuel manufacturing facility in the UK, ensuring a responsible approach to energy production.

Sustainable Solutions

We conducted a thorough review of the practices employed by the auditee—both in their office and offshore in the Netherlands—to effectively reduce their impact and enhance the sustainability of their operations. This evaluation utilized the revised guidance questionnaire we developed specifically for the client, emphasising the UN Sustainable Development Goals, carbon accounting, and energy efficiency.
